IBA does not live up to its reputation of being the best business university in Karachi. Many of the teachers are incompetent to teach properly and to grade marked assignments and exams fairly, the level of the students in terms of academic and cocurricular achievements is lower than I thought, it’s difficult to get desired courses each semester along with a student’s preferred schedule, we study from outdated books, and lastly, if a student faces any issues or problems, for example, if they do not have the required number of courses in a semester or if they feel as if a teacher did not grade their work properly, there is no one to help the students. Students have almost no say in any matter. They can run around to different people to look for solutions and answers but no one really helps so all they do is keep quiet and move on.
The only good part of IBA is the fact that it’s a renowned University in Pakistan, and the fact that IBA has more students that come from a good family background than any other university.
