While considering a university whether for BS, MS, or Ph.D. study there are several things to consider. This means tuition fees, co-curricular activities, university ranking, research papers published by that particular university, and scholarships provided to students yup! The infrastructure and nature too. Therefore, BUITEM is considered one of the best universities for providing different scholarships to its student. Engaging students in different co-curricular activities, arranging international conferences, and many more to opt for. Above all, for three years BUITEMS is winning the policy-making challenge all over Pakistan. From a study point of view, there are several departments that are considered best to study in BUITEM for instance Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Computer Science.

The programme I chose at the BUITEMS was International Relations. BUITEMS offer a wide range of faculty for social sciences subjects. though most of the teachers from my department were on scholarship leave, but still the one left to teach us were excelling in their subject. teachers allowed healthy debates in the classroom, knowing well that this programme requires knowledge of debate and discussions. Other than essential subjects for IR, few non-essential subjects were also taught to develop the general skills. overall, studying in this university gives you adequate knowledge about subject as well as skill set.

Since it’s my final year at this university, I believe I have gained a comprehensive understanding of its environment from both academic and personal growth perspectives. If you wish to pursue a degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, or computer engineering, it is essential to familiarize yourself with the fundamentals of the respective field before starting your first semester.

I won’t deny that the quality of professors varies. While you may come across some fantastic professors, there might also be some less engaging ones. It is common worldwide that, as an undergraduate student, you need to take the initiative to learn a lot on your own and keep your expectations of others relatively low.

One aspect that can be challenging is the attendance policy. In many cases, failing to meet the attendance requirements can result in being unable to take exams. However, the campus itself is impressive, with energetic cafes and various sports grounds such as cricket, football, and basketball. The library environment is also conducive to self-learning, with a wide range of books available. Although the digital library is still under construction.

I must acknowledge that the student club organizes numerous activities, which provide opportunities for personal development in communication, confidence building, and networking.
