Rivers State University is a good university that focuses on giving core values to her student. At my time at the University I focused on joining community and clubs and acquiring a variety of skills and certificates in leadership, communication and software development. I also took on leadership position which built my character and strength while in the school.

My honest opinion on this university is that it is a good university because it has conducive environment for its students. They also have masters and PhD lectures taking the students with experience and they know what they’re doing. The university gives a balance between education, politics and social lifestyle for the society. It builds on character, morals and intellect among many other qualities one would like to have; so yes I would recommend it to anyone who’s looking forward to studying in Nigeria it’s a good University.

I think Rivers State University is a nice university that I will definitely recommend to people because they create the right avenue for learning, but an aspect I see as a downside is the fact that they do not exactly teach some departments their core courses till around the third or fourth year. Asides that, I think the university is fine.
