I studied Business Education at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, and it was an experience that shaped both my academic and personal growth. The programme offers a strong blend of business principles and educational training, making it ideal for anyone interested in teaching or running a business.
The lecturers were knowledgeable and passionate, especially in courses like entrepreneurship, accounting, and educational psychology. Group presentations and interactive sessions added practical value to the learning process.
However, one major downside was the infrastructure. Some classrooms were overcrowded, and access to modern learning tools was limited. Also, administrative processes—like registration or result processing—were often slow and frustrating. These challenges required a lot of patience and adaptability.
Despite that, the programme helped me build strong academic and professional foundations, and I’d still recommend it to anyone passionate about business and education.
