Enugu state University at the time I attended was peaceful and serene, lots of fun activities outside the usual academic activities. I am going to talking about my faculty particularly, basically I have compared notes with other state schools and I want to say that law faculty in Esuth is just one of the best. They have the best hands, very digitalized process ,never witnessed any dirty political year, cool and neat learning environment, etc.
What stands out for me is the remote commute from the school hostel to my faculty, for other facilities, you might have to consider a means of transportation to get to your destination still within the same school facility. I loved how big the school was, I loved the school’s hostel experience as well.
My school was a learning curve in every way for me and I am thankful.
ESUT is a place where your determination for excellence is tested, refined and built. Every Student should attend ESUT for quality and life changing academic experience.
I like ESUT because they had a variety of courses that got my interest, the Deans of faculty where very present and responsive in the teaching organizations, the Lectures were one of the best in the world, very knowledgeable, up to date with current research, very impactful and knowledgeable.
As a student, one of the things that student out for me was the assistance of lecturers in making teaching materials readily available to student especially where such materials were hard to find.
ESUT is an academic institution i would gladly recommend for any student wanting to go for graduate or post graduate course.
I have a very high opinion of the Enugu State University of science and technology. Almost hitting the roof😍😍
On a scale of 100, the chances of recommending it to people are 97
Yeah
Am that proud of it
I like the school for the freedom to live your life and make your choices. Everything is given to you, and the outcome is at your making.
I dislike the closeness of the faculties(weird🙄😲 u may say)to each other though there is this community feeling.
View moreFirst, the school admits more students than their quota just to earn more. The Classes can’t accommodate up to half of the students. The lecturers come to class when they feel like and some of them ask for all sorts of bribes for you to be able to pass. The education system is ridiculed as it’s impracticable in the real world. They are supposed to be mirroring what we should expect in the real world and impact the knowledge in us but no one bothers about that, everyone just wants to make money.
View moreWhat I liked about the program was the school life in general, the students are quite creative, lively and talented, there are lots of talent hunt shows always organized on campus and the weather is usually calm and beautiful. The school is located on the outskirt of the city around a village called Agbani in the Nkanu East local government area of the state.
The lecturers are approachable and diligent, they are committed to grooming successful students who can compete with their peers across the world
The school facilities are quite modern though some of the books in the library are outdated and yet to be updated
The experience generally is eventful and educating.
I would recommend the school to anyone who wants to receive a good education.
Each faculty has its school buses.
The student union government always organizes a picnic every semester for the students
The school have both computerized classrooms, online classes and part term programs for those who work and school.
The environment is serene and peaceful with accredited faculties and affiliation with some international schools around the world.
I had a nice stay at Enugu State University of Science and Technology, in the noble Faculty of Law for 5 years, extended to 6 years due to the COVID year, though tough but it has bred me to whom I am today and I don’t regret being an Esutite.
View moreMy programme at esut went smoothly. I had wonderful professors who were ready to teach and easily approachable. The school environment was very nice and had to up to date facilities. The library and the classrooms were very conducive. There are many extracurricular for students to do and many fun activities to partake in and so my social life was very active. I love my alma mater and would give it five stars.
View moreMy experience at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology was really a memorable one. When I started in year one, I was really a novice in what a campus is all about, even as there were lots of distractions.
However, I really enjoyed my stay at the school because of the type of environment it has, most especially, the lectures in this very University were really nice, and I really enjoyed them so much.
As I went further, even though there were some challenges, the school was still very skilled in its managerial aspect.
Nevertheless, a few things I don’t like is the aspect of strike. This affects the calendar of the school.
Moreso, I really like my journey at Enugu State University of Science and Technology, it was nice.
Esut is not career conducive; there are little or no accommodations or provisions to carry out extracurricular events that advance the career prospects of budding lawyers. We are bombarded with lectures that last over very inconvenient hours and this affects our assimilation. The curriculum needs to be amended.
View moreWell I’m studying law it isn’t very easy it’s kinda tough as this is my final year. The environment promotes a good place for students to learn and study and the lecturers are good and up to date they know how to impact knowledge and the school facilities are also up to date. I always loved the law dinner night we always had once at every level it improved my social life a great deal. My stay there is really good and I would recommend the school to anyone. The two challenges students face are the school fees are expensive in a way not everyone can afford them. And also the strike issue, most times lecturers go on strike due to them not receiving the salary and allowances when they are supposed to, so that becomes a kind of setback for students like us because the strike can last months keeping us at home when we are supposed to be in school.
