I had a positive experience at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU), with a few things I liked and some areas that could be improved.
What I Liked:
Academic Quality: Knowledgeable lecturers and good academic resources.
Campus Environment: Spacious, peaceful, and conducive for studying.
Cultural Diversity: A vibrant student community with cultural exchange.
Affordable Tuition: Reasonably priced compared to other universities.
What I Disliked:
Inconsistent Administration: Delays in processes like course registration and clearances.
Outdated Facilities: Some lecture halls and dorms need maintenance.
Limited Extra-Curricular Activities: Fewer student clubs and events compared to other schools.
Recommendation:
I would recommend NAU for students seeking affordable education in a culturally diverse environment. However, be prepared for administrative delays and basic infrastructure. It’s a good choice for those who prioritize academics over facilities and extra-curricular options.
Every university should be applied to by the candidate’s choice of course .
Nnamdi Azikiwe University has a high standard of learning and great respect for culture and character.
The university highlights its predominance for academic excellence ,entrepreneurship and sports .
For me ,the school is well equipped in its accredited courses in engineering ,law ,social sciences, art , health sciences .
Most importantly ,foreign languages are accredited .
Candidates wanting to study chinese language ,can apply to the Confisciuos Institute.
Its faculty of law is prestigious and has a landmark for excellent students in Nigeria, thats my current programme.
View moreNnamdi Azikiwe is a great citadel of learning with wonderful lecturers and a good learning environment.
Their lecturers, particularly in my discipline, are very student friendly and they try their very best to meet the need of every student.
Their academic sessions however are often disrupted by the university union strike actions.
View moreWell, apparently Nnamdi Azikwe university is one of the best universities we have in Nigeria based on it academic excellence recorded over the years, not only in Nigeria but the world at large.
It has the best learning environment and facilities with the best lecturers/professors Nigeria would boost of and raising individuals with high intellectual capabilities.
It’s also on record that NAU has raised people of great significance round the world e.g China, India, USA, to mention but few.
It’s a great school indeed.
Though law is stressful, did’nt really have issues with it in school. The environment is calm and beautiful. The lecturers we had make us determined and ready for the task ahead. Facilities were quite okay and the internationality was great in a way, had handful of international students there. I would recommend.
View moreStudying Law could be hectic but very sweet in all. I especially love that my lecturers attend classes and are very patient with us to ensure proper learning. The environment too is conducive except for a few security challenges sometime ago that kept us in fear. I also didn’t like the way students were treated sometimes by their fellow students due to some irreconcilable differences but all the same I must confess that with hard work and focus, the sky is but a starting point. I’ve learnt how to be tough and how to stand tall. I must confess that I’m all grown and it’s because of my experiences during my program. I look forward to more achievements and positive experiences!!!
