Studying Agriculture in the department of Animal Science and Technology at Nnamdi Azikiwe University was a rewarding experience that combined both theory and hands-on learning. The programme provided a strong foundation in crop science, soil management, and animal production, with lecturers who were knowledgeable and genuinely interested in students’ growth. I particularly appreciated the practical sessions and fieldwork, which helped connect classroom concepts to real-world agricultural practices.

While the learning experience was generally positive, some laboratory equipment and farm facilities could use better maintenance and modernization. Administrative processes were sometimes slow, but the supportive academic staff made up for it. Overall, the programme strengthened my understanding of sustainable agriculture and prepared me well for research and fieldwork in the agricultural sector.
