Studying Agriculture in the department of Animal Science and Technology at Nnamdi Azikiwe University was a rewarding experience that combined both theory and hands-on learning. The programme provided a strong foundation in crop science, soil management, and animal production, with lecturers who were knowledgeable and genuinely interested in students’ growth. I particularly appreciated the practical sessions and fieldwork, which helped connect classroom concepts to real-world agricultural practices.

While the learning experience was generally positive, some laboratory equipment and farm facilities could use better maintenance and modernization. Administrative processes were sometimes slow, but the supportive academic staff made up for it. Overall, the programme strengthened my understanding of sustainable agriculture and prepared me well for research and fieldwork in the agricultural sector.

Nnamdi Azikiwe University is a respected institution in Nigeria with a wide range of courses and committed lecturers. The campus environment is generally good for learning, and the student community is vibrant and supportive.On the other hand, infrastructure in some areas still needs improvement, and administrative processes can be slow. Power and internet access can also be inconsistent, and academic strikes sometimes disrupt the calendar. Still, Unizik provides solid academic training and valuable personal growth for students who are adaptable

Nnamdi Azikiwe university is not just a school where you learn how to read and pass your exams. It’s a place where your creativity is tested and groomed. Coming to the aspects of teaching, they have qualified teachers and professors who are willing and devoted to teach even beyond your syllables.
One of the aspects I don’t really like is the way the move the year one students from one hall to another for lectures although it’s actually part of the story to tell people when you graduate but at the moment of experience it’s not funny at all.
I will recommend the school for anyone who is looking for a university to enroll. With a Unicom certificate you can get work anywhere and anytime because we are truely valued

Nnamdi Azikiwe University is a prestigious school and is known for producing some of the best graduating students in Nigeria. The lecturers are no doubt skilled and experts in their field and are always ever ready to pass on their knowledge.
My main issues with the school though is the lack of spacious lecture rooms, unstable power supply and no tight security. But despite all these, the school is a great school and I’ll recommend it anytime

It was a tough place. We ran 2 sessions in a year at a point and it mentally exhausting. I made good friends and was lucky to be a member of a professional body. I wouldn’t go there for a masters degree. I studied Parasitology and Entomology but we did more of theory than practical. I and my coursemates had to take on extras lessons to meet up. Final year was fun

During my years spent in the university, the things I loved about it was the discipline, conferences being carried out to develop the students, outstanding lectures by the lecturers etc. As an alumni, I would recommend Nnamdi Azikiwe University to students struggling to choose University because of its excellence, discipline and outstanding lectures by the lecturers.

Nnamdi Azikiwe University is a great Institution for learning, it has lots of students and lecturers from diverse places coming together toshare their skills and knowledge of which after graduation the student are capable of being self reliant

My institution is what I refer to as a tremendous bastion of learning. I adore the setting, which is welcoming to students and has a low cost of living. The standard for institution personnel means they don’t merely provide lectures; they actually convey knowledge.
I have this particular concern about the nature of the Nigeria state to it’s school system
Further more, I want to urge someone who is very important to me to check out this fantastic organization.
