The Sociology programme at Abuja University has been both insightful and practical. The lecturers are experienced and passionate about the subjects they teach. I’ve learned to see society from different perspectives, and the discussions often relate directly to real-life issues in Nigeria. The curriculum covers important areas like culture, inequality, gender, and development. While there’s room for improvement in facilities and course organization, the overall learning experience has been strong and thought-provoking.
View moreUniversity of Abuja Nigeria is know as one of the most prominent Federal universities in Nigeria. My days through the school were filled with mixed emotions, they were a lot of hurdles and challenges through the way. One which i remember vividly was the none stop academic staff union strikes which always affected students because it meant everyone was getting an extra year or semester and that frustrated me a lot. the infrastructure of the university as at then was at a very poor state but as recently being rectified due them moving to a newer campus. Some of the lectures also were careless and some times the examinations were not properly graded as at then. The university shaped me in many ways as i was able to socialize in an environment filled with people of different socio ethnic back ground and values in a peaceful and orderly manner.
