The University of Abuja is a great place to learn. They have the main campus and the mini campus.
The cultural integration is great because you have students from different states in one environment.
They run a digitalized process that makes it easy for students to register for courses as opposed to manual registration before I started.
The lecturers are qualified and they have Drs and Professors that are well informed.
The campus life was amazing, and the dress code was strictly adhered to to fight indecent dressing on campus, and as expected of every student, you must show your identification before entry into the school.
The city was mostly hot, which I disliked, so it was not a place for people who cant stand the heat.
my experience in political science and international relations program has been incredibly rewarding. the curriculum provides a thorough understanding of both political theory and global affairs, which has been instrumental in shaping my perspective on international issues. the professors are experts in their fields and offer invaluable insights and guidance throughout the course.
However, one area that could be improved is the availability of larger lecture halls. some students, including myself, struggled to attend in-person classes due to limited space in certain classrooms, which sometimes impacted the learning experience. I believe expanding the size of lecture hall or offering more sections could enhance accessibility.
overall, I highly recommend this program to anyone passionate about politic and global affairs. it has equipped me with a broad set of skills and a deep understanding of international relations, preparing me for future academic or professional endeavors.
One of the things I appreciate about the university of Abuja, is the creation of a conductive atmosphere for learning.
The vice chancellor channelled lot of effort in providing a very conductive environment for our learning purpose, in my first two years of study in the school, I’d to suffer receiving lecture in a poorly ventilated lecture rooms.
The school built a department, that is well conductive for learning. I must say that was a big achievement for the school and I appreciate that a lot. It made learning fun.
