A great university that encompasses a small city, collegial and collaborative culture. However, no university is short of its systemic faults. As a top law school, I’m always surprised that they allow students from previous years to mark assignments. I feel this is a huge conflict of interest for many people as students often socialise together with other year levels, thus there is huge room for bias. Additionally, many of the core subjects do not have consistent marking rubrics across the faculty which makes inconsistencies even more likely.
Other than that, the facilities are great and the support staff are excellent. The research done here is industry-leading and I’m always amazed at who has graduated from here.
