I studied at the Higher School of Education and Training (ESEF) in the English department at Ibn Tofail University. Overall, my experience was enriching both academically and personally. The curriculum provided a strong foundation in linguistics, literature, and pedagogy, which prepared me for real-world teaching environments.
One of the strengths of the school is its focus on practicum and internships, which gave me the chance to work directly with students and develop classroom management and lesson planning skills. I also appreciated the support from a few dedicated professors who were passionate about education.
However, like many public institutions, there were areas for improvement, such as administrative delays and limited access to updated teaching materials or resources. Despite these challenges, I made the most of the opportunities and built a solid base in education and language instruction.
