As a student at IBN Tofail University, I am continually impressed by the vibrant academic atmosphere and the supportive faculty. The professors are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in students’ success, offering mentorship beyond the classroom. The campus is equipped with modern facilities, including extensive libraries and collaborative spaces that foster learning and innovation. The diverse student body enriches the educational experience, promoting cultural exchange and a sense of community. Extracurricular activities, from clubs to sports, provide ample opportunities for personal growth and networking.

However, practical application and hands-on learning are often lacking. Housing on campus is decent, but can be crowded and noisy at times. The primary language of instruction is Arabic, which can be challenging for international students. The most frustrating aspect is the unfair oral interviews for enrollment. These interviews are highly subjective and can be influenced by personal biases. I’ve heard of many qualified students being rejected due to poor performance in these interviews, despite strong academic records. The university has its strengths, but there is room for improvement in terms of practical education, housing, and the enrollment process
