    Nice atmosphere and cultural life

I like SMK’s teachers and subjects, they’re really useful. Professors give us a lot of knowledge. It is really nice to study there, but the tuition fee is a bit high. But overall I like SMK. Studying there is awesome.

    SMK College of Applied Sciences

This college is good for everyone. Because this college doesn’t focused on only theories, research papers, surveys. They always focused on the practical in hand real life study experience. Like Public Speaking, Presentation, Assignments, Tasks etc. These all tasks are based on what we learned in the classroom. Everyday we have the new task to done . This part is good for me and other students because for this assignments and tasks we are intrigated with studies.

    Excellent Academic Environment

I had a fantastic experience with this programme. The curriculum is well-structured and focuses on practical learning. The professors are highly knowledgeable and always willing to help students with their queries. The campus life is vibrant, and the facilities like the library and labs are top-notch. I would highly recommend this university to anyone looking for a quality education and a great career start.

    Great ways of teaching

Pretty nice university, it has its own vibe inside of the building, and it is exactly such a place where you really want to learn something new. There are really comfortable classes, with all equipment for comfortable studying. I like the professors of this university because they teach us based on their own experience in professional areas and life. All knowledge which I got from university is practical and nothing extra.

Overall Good Experience but Some Concerns

Overall, my experience with this program has been okay. The curriculum is decent and some professors are supportive and helpful, which makes learning easier. The university environment is also manageable for international students.

However, one major issue I faced is with a few professors who seem biased, especially towards Asian students. In some cases, it feels like students are unfairly failed, while others pass more easily. This creates stress and also leads to additional financial burden due to paid retakes.

I believe the university should address this issue seriously to ensure fairness and equal treatment for all students. With better monitoring and accountability, the overall experience could be much better.

I would still recommend this program, but only with awareness of these challenges.

    SMK College: Room to Grow

To start with, SMK is one of the most affordable universities in the Baltic States, with a tuition of 2,800 Euros. There are 3 campuses, one in Vilnius, Klaipeda and Kaunas. This review focuses on the Vilnius branch.
It’s a small institution, in every sense of the word. With a student body of less than 10,000 students, a sole brick-and-mortar and only five courses in English, SMK is struggling to appeal to potential international and local students.
Appearance-wise, it’s a sleek, modern 3-story building with glass windows and a professional ambiance.
The college offers more Lithuanian courses which makes the ratio of local to international students about 10:4 easily. This makes it especially difficult for international students to feel at home. There’s also the little issue of racial segregation but that’s a story for another day.
Lectures are clumsy but informative at best and repetitive and boring at worst. Course work is limited to presentations and not much else.
The moodle system is easily used and accessible for assignments and schedules but the limited number of courses makes it difficult to explore one’s preferences in regards to learning.
A massive lack of variety concerning school hosted extracurricular activities could also be a problem for people looking for flavor. SMK’s best outings are limited to clubs and bars with too much alcohol and not enough space for level headed talk, but that’s just my bias talking.
Not to mention, the lack of a consistent sports team and/or sports related events really puts a damper on the school team spirit.

Overall, SMK barely has a presence in Lithuania, talk less of the Baltic states. As an institution, it could do so much better for itself and its students.

Hi Demania sorry I don't know how else to contact you but I'm not sure you can. You'll have to register for a few classes and pay for those classes but for now, most classes are on campus or hybrid. Not much else for remote learning. More information can be found via the student mentors who are on the website I believe. Good luck!
