Things I like:
1. Pretty diverse student population, allowing students to interact with peers from various backgrounds and cultures.
2. Great education for STEM fields.
3. Great and modern facilities, great library.
4. University provides career opportunities by offering career mentors, organising job fairs, collaborating with companies and offering internship and job possibilities.
5. Supportive community, offering help with your studies.
6. Many different clubs you can join, such as sports, hiking, music, philosophy, etc.

Im currently a second year student in KTU, Data science and engineering study program. As I see it so far, this program was created with a collaboration of big tech companies, because there’s quite a big demand for this type of specialist, at least in the context of Lithuania business. This program is manly involved in expanding programing and mathematical knowledge, with the latter being quite a challenge compared to what i got through in school. There is quite the diversity in modules, lectured for this program, some being quite engaging, and others (to put it lightly) who don’t make any sense (the theory teaching one thing, and for assingments you are trown into doing exact opposite), the latter appearing mostly in the programing based lectures.
Overall, I like the concept and the opportunities, which this university promises with the degree, but there are some moment’s when you just question the methods of achieving said knowledge.
P.S. in my opinion anyone can learn programing here, but if you struggle with math, you will suffer here
