Hello! KTU uses the standard Lithuanian 10-point grading scale, where 5 is the minimum passing grade and 10 is the highest (“excellent”). The final mark usually combines coursework, projects, mid-term assessments, and final exams, meaning that consistent effort throughout the semester is important. From experience working with international students, the courses are not “easy” in the sense of requiring little effort. Instead, they focus strongly on practical skills, analytical thinking, teamwork, and real-world problem solving, especially in technology, engineering, business, and design fields. Many modules include projects, presentations, or applied tasks that mirror real professional situations. If you attend classes, complete assignments on time, and actively participate, achieving good results is absolutely realistic. However, KTU expects independence and responsibility – students are encouraged to manage their time, think critically, and apply knowledge, not just memorise theory 🙂
