My opinion of Mount Kenya University is largely positive. It offers a very accessible and practical approach to higher education, which was crucial for my learning journey.
**What I liked most** were the flexible study options (part-time/evening classes) and the emphasis on a practical curriculum. The lecturers in my programme were dedicated, approachable, and brought valuable real-world experience into the classroom. The campus facilities were also well-maintained and conducive to a good learning environment.
**What I disliked** was the occasional inefficiency in the administrative and finance processes, which could sometimes be slow to resolve. Additionally, the digital learning system (student portal) sometimes experienced technical glitches, which needed more streamlined support.
**I would definitely recommend MKU.** It provides a solid academic foundation, especially for those who need flexibility in their studies or are looking for a practical, career-focused degree. The combination of knowledgeable staff and accessible resources makes it a strong choice for prospective students.
