I had the privilege of studying at the University of Nairobi and my experience was both enriching and transformative.I pursued a law degree at the Parklands Campus,which provided a rigorous academic environment with a faculty committed to excellence.The campus facilities were conducive to learning,and I appreciated the diversity of thought and perspectives from both students and professors.In addition to law, I also took Philosophy and International Relations courses at the main campus. The interdisciplinary approach broadened my understanding of global issues and helped me develop critical thinking skills.The university’s emphasis on research and real-world application of knowledge was invaluable.Overall,the University of Nairobi provided me with a strong academic foundation and a vibrant campus experience,and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-rounded education.The combination of rigorous coursework and exposure to diverse academic disciplines makes it an excellent choice for ambitious students.

Accommodation and Amenities
The university offers various accommodation options for students, ranging from on-campus hostels to off-campus housing. The on-campus hostels are convenient and affordable, providing a safe and supportive environment for students. Additionally, the campus is equipped with essential amenities such as dining halls, medical facilities, and recreational centers, ensuring that students’ needs are well taken care of.

I studied my Bachelors of Law at this University and a course that should have taken 4 years took me three(3) and 4 months to complete. Their learning program is adaptable and fairly smooth however the student needs to put in their work in order to ascertain a smooth graduation with honors.
I would arguably say that it is the best University in Kenya that offers a Law degree, a masters and even PHD and as such I highly recommend enrolling in this University.

The best thing about studying Laws in UoN is the fact that I am likely to share classes with some of the great people in Kenya. These are people who are making serious decisions in running the government. This motivates students since they are and can still easily interact with these great personalities. This department is bragging to have produced some of the great leaders and decision makers in this country , Kenya. Some of the Alumni I feel pleased to have shared school and department with are; James Orengo, Senator, Teodosia Osir, lawyer and corporate executive, Troy Onyango, writer and lawyer, Jamal Abdikadir,Lawyer, Willy Mutunga, Former Chief Justice of Kenya.

A very good learning institution with great learning facilities. Very friendly professors and course facilitators. They made my learning enjoyable and memorable. UON is indeed an education hub. I can recommend it any day any time.

The UON is the largest university-based in Nairobi city, Kenya. It is right at the center of the economic hub of the country. Students from UON dress well, eat well, drive fancy cars, and above all they are very bright. I enjoy being in their company as they teach me their classy ways. Since I joined this university I have made great friends who have really helped me excel each day. I am always in love with the school’s recreational facilities.
