I joined in 2018 September intake as a commerce student.
What I loved the most was how convenient their distance learning was. Exams and online classes made my learning experience smooth.
What I disliked was how long it took for examination results to be released. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is busy with work or raising family and still wants to study.

This institution offers various courses in the faculty of Business.
It has dedicated and committed lecturers in the school of business who are very friendly and diligent in their work.
Students are helped to seek Internship and attachment opportunities.
Student leadership is strong as it is put on place through a democratic process where all the students are involved
Accommodation is available within the varsity and outside and at affordable prices depending on the student
I highly recommend this institution since it meets the international standards

Kenyatta University offered me a chance to study bachelor of commerce and I majored in finance.
The institution has a well equipped school of business with qualified staff.

Kenyatta University has a well equipped school of business with enough qualified lecturers who are well experienced.
The institution connects students with the corporate world for internships and attachment which helps in gaining experience.
It offers accommodation within the campus and there are also private hostels around the institution which are equally decent and affordable.
Director of students’ affairs ensures that the welfare of students is well taken care of.
Student leaders are also elected through a democratic process hence the leaders serve students well without any biases.

The school has well developed infrastructures and amazingly friendly and insightful lecturers. Hygiene is given priority and all stakeholders treated with utmost respect. Classes are well organized and all people are appreciated in the institution

Kenyatta University is overally rated one of the best universities in Kenya and I can only agree with reference to the educational programs and the facilities that my former campus has. From having the largest library to an innovation centre and a practicing hospital for medical students. That to me was the highlight of my 4 years of campus life together with very affordable student life. The community sorrounding the university is accommodating to student lifestyle. The location is also convenient with it situated along the Thika Super Highway.
I am proud to be a Kenyatta University alumni and if I were to back to campus I’d choose K. U all over again

Kenyatta University is a public university situated in Nairobi, Kenya. It is one of the best universities in Kenya and Africa as a continent. The student’s admission process on the campus is done so fast and it’s transparent to all. It takes less than an hour to get fully admitted to the university and every student is given his/her admission numbers upon completion of the registration process.

It is one of the best universities in Kenya as it is well located along Thika superhighway and offers a wide range of programmes. Kenyatta University has the best structures and offers a conducive environment for studies and outdoor activities. I would highly recommend this university to someone who wants to study here.

The Bachelor of commerce is a lucrative course. I chose it because I am interested in one of its specializations – Actuarial Science. Although it is challenging and time-demanding, I love it. I am however disturbed by the fact that some of the students do not have the confidence to pursue this option of the degree. In my opinion, the university should endeavour to ensure the students are imparted with the right experience and knowledge as well as skills to be able to pursue some of these lucrative but difficult course options. Students have fear for some courses and the university should deal with it. I think it is our problem in Kenya and Africa at large where teachers and instructors take pleasure in scaring the students throughout their school life instead of empowering them accordingly. It doesn’t make sense when a lecturer keeps saying, “this course is difficult, some of you won’t make it.” Fear is a mentality and words can be detrimentally influential.
