My experience at Kenyatta University has been both inspiring and transformative. The lecturers are knowledgeable and genuinely invested in students’ success. Classes are well-structured, with a good balance between theory and practical application. The university also provides excellent opportunities for research, innovation, and leadership through clubs and community projects. Campus life is vibrant, diverse, and supportive, making it easy to build lasting friendships and networks. Overall, KU has helped me grow academically, personally, and professionally.

Kenyatta University is one of the leading institutions of higher learning in Kenya, and my overall opinion of it is quite positive. It is located in Nairobi County, Kenya

What I like:
1. The university has a wide range of academic programs, which makes it possible for students to pursue diverse career paths.
2. The campus is spacious and well-planned, offering a conducive environment for both learning and personal growth.
3. I appreciate the strong emphasis on research, innovation, and extracurricular activities that help students develop holistically.
4. The university’s reputation both locally and internationally gives graduates an added advantage in the job market.

What I dislike:
1. Like many public universities, there can be challenges with bureaucracy, especially when handling administrative issues, which sometimes leads to delays.
2. The large student population can make some services slower or less personalized.
3. Accommodation and facilities, while available, may not always be sufficient to meet the growing demand.

Would I recommend it?
Yes, I would recommend Kenyatta University. Despite some challenges, it offers a quality education, a conducive learning environment, and opportunities for both academic and personal growth. Thus making KU both a regional education hub and a force for national development

Kenya’s education policies at Kenyatta University wonderfully integrate extracurricular and academic studies. They actively discourage examination infidelity. If classes don’t resonate well with you, then exploring extracurricular activities should be considered. I thoroughly enjoyed my learning experience here and still highly recommend it. The university offers excellent facilities, including food outlets, accommodation, security, and ease of learning both physically and online. The university boasts world-class lecturers.

This university is highly organised, with quality teaching. I liked how friendly and kind the lecturers were during my time of study. Beautiful environment. I would recommend it to anyone. Do not have a second thought!

My experience was great. It is one of the best campuses. I like the fact that most of the things in this school happen professionally. Students are typically treated well and their needs are listened accordingly. All the lecturers are proficient and of high standards.

I am currently studying BSc. Medical Laboratory Science and its a very nice field because in this course you are tasked with researching and diagnosing microorganisms in the laboratory using various techniques. the good thing about studying this course is You will spend most of your time doing practicals and researching microscopic organisms in the laboratory. This way you get firsthand knowledge of what you will be encountering when you eventually start analyzing specimens from different patients. It is truly an interesting course for anyone who has a passion for research.

I chose to do my master’s degree at Kenyatta University because I know and I have experienced the always adequate resources needed for my research in Immunology. The university offers ample time for anyone who wants to do research and assistance through several engagements by the professors so as to ascertain you are always up to the task in whatever you are doing. Another thing you can factor while choosing KU is the location its located in a nice area with plenty of security and a favourable environment that’s cool for fun and studies
