Student review [#94915] for Civil Engineering
at Moi University

It is a university that is highly affected by politics and tribalism. Initially, the university had a well functioning management that was ousted by tribal politicians. They then embezzled the funds and now the school is almost collapsing. There are regular strikes by the school’s staff because they haven’t been paid for months!
There’s is insecurity in the school, lectures are affected by the strikes which increase the number of years you take to complete a course. This of course is not favourable to many students as it causes a strain in their finances. The education in other schools like the school of arts is not quality because of few lecturers.
Likes? It is located at a place where life is generally cheap.
Would I recommend it? No.
