My opinion about the UWI Mona it’s a great place for persons to come and experience Caribbean culture on a whole. What I like about it is that we are to share our experiences, differences and form a common ground, almost like a family. I like that it’s relatively small and intimate. The teachers are great with the students you can get into contact and have discussions with them. What I dislike is maybe there could be more engagement of students from different faculty. I would definitely recommend the University especially to persons who would love to experience different Caribbean cultures.

Even after failure, they try their best to give you some form of make-up assignment or exam to get to where you need to be. They’re the epitome of, ‘No man left behind.’ Even their facilities are clean and sleek and welcoming for learning and study. This is literally the best UWI campus, because I’ve heard of and had experiences with St Augustine and the others, and they’re weren’t good. UWI-Mona to the world!
View moreStarting university has been a challenge, but I have been learning a lot and meeting many interesting people. I do STEM courses which are very challenging, especially with the next-level scientific content that is to be absorbed. That being said, learning about things Im passionate about allows me to see the world in a whole different light.
