The University of Siena is a university that is divided into different areas of the city. My department is located in a former psychiatric hospital, with a particular atmosphere and architectural charm. The classrooms have all the necessary technologies, are well maintained and easily accessible. The professors are competent and available and the subjects covered are coherent and well organized. Siena is a beautiful city, but with little attention to the university student. Rents are not overly expensive but there’s poor nightlife. Another drawback is that UNISI is not very internationalized.
In general, however, my experience is very good, I would recommend the University of Siena to a student who wants to study in a quiet way, in a small and safe city, without neglecting the importance of their education.
