3rd March 2023, it was that morning when I received my acceptance letter from the University of Parma within 24 hours of my application. That day I could not believe that I would finally be able to pursue my studies in English and in Italy! The country that has one of the oldest universities in the world. I spent one year as an international student and I can confirm that it was the best decision I’ve ever made. The professors were competent, kind, and understanding, in my last exam i had difficulties understanding some points in my course but the professor did not hesitate to video call me in from another country to clarify my doubts. One thing I would like to mention is that the language barrier can be a real struggle because a lot of Italians cannot speak English, so if anyone wants to come, I can assure that they will not regret it but in the other hand , they should work on their italian language.
