Theoretical knoledge VS technical skills

The University of Pisa is unquestionably one of the best Atheneum. It guarantees a good theoretical background, it assures some places where it’s possible to study and the secretary service is quite sufficient.
But, if a student is searching for a traineeship or a technical experience in laboratories there are few professors willing to help him/her. Furthermore, the links between the university and the companies are missing and for a student it is complicated to find an internship to complete the studies or to do the thesis.

I read your brief review about the space engineering programme. I have a few more enquiries. Hope that you find time to reply. I have secured admission in the Space engineering program. However, I am more inclined to devote most of my time towards research programs related with this course. What is the present scenario for research work in the field of Aerospace at Pisa?? Also, is it possible for a student to shift eventually to Astronomy and Astrophysics field after taking up space engineering? Are there enough facilities available to study and move ahead in the field of Astronomy??
