I attended the Catholic University of Milan and, in particular, my field of study was Political Science. I would like to underline that some subjects such as Political Science, Labor Law and Occupational Psychology were very interesting and the teachers very qualified. It was a satisfaction to be able to pass the related exams and they certainly enriched my cultural background and gave me food for thought to deepen the topics and be able to relate to other people interested in the subjects I have indicated.
However, I would like to add that the Diploma in Political Science did not help me for my job and even less for my professional career. The reason that the degree I have chosen is too generic and has not allowed me to acquire operational knowledge that can be immediately used in the job market.
It was necessary to attend other specialization courses to qualify professionally and find an opportunity that would give me satisfaction.
I would go back I would choose engineering because it is a much more practical degree address and more connected to the world of work and the skills required by many companies.
