I am currently at UNIBO and I am about to finish my first year – and I absolutely love it! This place is full of amazing opportunities for students: Erasmus and study abroad programs, scholarships, financial support, even asylum policy assistance.
The best part? You get to learn from top-notch professors in beautiful historic buildings that make you feel like you’re studying in a museum.
Honestly, I feel so lucky to receive my education here. UNIBO is not only one of the best universities in Italy – many would say it is THE best!
View moreThe university of Bologna is a pilar in the Italian educational system and, as such, it has high standards of education, although being a public institution.
Talking about my personal experience, I am currently studying in an international Bachelor degree in Business Administration with only 50 positions available. This makes the entry requirements quite challenging and the environment within the course quite competitive, but still worth it. As students, we have the chance to make long term friendships and get to know pretty well everybody who is in the course. Additionally, we have the possibility of having a human interaction with the professors themselves, who are important figures both inside and outside the university.
I am grateful for the opportunity of this high-quality education and I would suggest everybody to challenge yourself and try to entry in a course even if the spots are limited!
I enrolled in Law, economics and corporate governance. Best course includes deep knowledge and information. It will definitely help me to improve my knowledge.
The Law, Economics and Corporate Governance program at the University of Bologna offers a unique interdisciplinary approach that blends legal studies with economic theory and corporate governance principles. Designed for students aiming to understand the complex interactions between law, business, and finance, the course provides solid academic training with a focus on both European and international perspectives. The curriculum includes core subjects such as corporate law, competition law, economic analysis of law, financial regulation, and business ethics. Professors are experienced and often involved in research and policy-making, providing students with insights that go beyond textbooks.
The course is taught in English, making it accessible to international students and creating a diverse, multicultural environment. It emphasizes critical thinking, policy analysis, and legal reasoning, equipping students for careers in law firms, international organizations, regulatory bodies, and the corporate world. One of the program’s strengths is its emphasis on real-world applications, including case studies, internships, and guest lectures from professionals in the field. However, the workload can be intense, and a strong background in both legal and economic concepts is recommended. Overall, it’s a well-rounded, forward-looking program ideal for those seeking a career at the intersection of law, economics, and governance.
