A business cannot survive if its products are not marketed in the proper way. Luckily for all the businesses out there, the number of candidates wanting to pursue a marketing career is growing tremendously.
The aim of this degree is to help students anticipate, manage, and satisfy customers’ needs and wants. By doing so, they will be able to effectively communicate the benefits of any business product to the targeted market.
Due to the fact that marketing is a complex industry, which tackles many areas ranging from market research to advertising and promotion, this degree focuses on all parts of the process before concentrating on a particular area of study.
Good news for marketing graduates! If you did not know yet, marketing is an essential aspect of all types of businesses, from all sectors of activity. Thus, all of them rely on marketers to promote and sell their products. A high market demand comes with many job opportunities available.
According to Labor Department Findings, graduates with a marketing degree can earn 98% more per hour than the ones working in the industry without having a specialised degree.
Furthermore, students are equipped with transferable skills, such as excellent communication abilities, strategic thinking, planning, data analysis and so on, that can be used in other industries too.
Marketing degrees can be studied either as Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc). The major difference lies in the presence of more scientific and technological aspects, which are commonly seen in a BSc rather than a BA.
Like most degrees, marketing courses last between three and four years, depending on the university. However, there are institutions which give students the possibility to do a two-year associate’s degree – also called a ‘foundation’ degree.
Even if graduating from both degrees qualifies candidates to work in this industry, a Bachelor degree has higher chances to lead you to well-paid jobs.
Honestly, I’ve had a really solid time here so far. It’s definitely better than your average program, though I think it would reach that “amazing” level if they just dialed up the real-world exposure—specifically with more industrial visits and direct industry connections.
That said, the faculty is fantastic. The classroom discussions are genuinely eye-opening and do a great job of sparking your curiosity. They also lean heavily into group projects and presentations, which keeps the energy high and ensures the whole class is actually engaged in quality debate. Overall, it’s been a great experience.
I would rate this as an above average experience, if they try to improve it a bit in terms of industrial visits and more industry exporsure it would be amazing. The faculty is really good and the kind of discussion that happens in class is really an eye opener and promotes curiosity. Use of group activities and presentations is very frequent which promotes quality discussion among the whole class. Overall this has been a pretty solid experience.
View moreI have no words as to how much this school has helped me grow as a person, the professors are amazing, the companions and classmates are amazing, the projects given by professors actually challenge you to build your character and knowledge. The campus is situated in hills in a building which used to be a villa and is amazingly beautiful. Its a bit far from the city but still easy to reach. I’d 100% recommend this place.
View moreI didn’t expect my time at Bologna Business School to be this engaging. From the very first class in the Master’s in Marketing and Communication, I was impressed by how interactive and thought-provoking the lessons were. The professors know how to bring real-world examples into discussions, making every session feel practical and relevant. Classes often include group projects, case studies, and open debates that make learning both challenging and enjoyable. Studying here has gone beyond what I imagined — it’s helped me grow both professionally and personally, and I’m confident the experience will make a real difference in my future career.
View moreI wish there were more international programs and greater opportunities for practical field experience before starting the internship, but overall it’s fine. Class schedules can be a bit unpredictable at times, though I don’t hold our class tutor or representative responsible, as I understand it’s beyond her control.
In general, I believe the administration and organization — not only for my course but for others as well, based on what I’ve heard — could benefit from improvement.
View moreI graduated nearly two years ago, gaining valuable knowledge, enhancing my language skills, and building confidence in public speaking without fear of mistakes. My goal is to excel as a digital marketing major in the coming years, and I’m determined to do whatever it takes to achieve that dream. The campus was a perfect balance between study and relaxation. Unlike many universities, the teaching here emphasized direct student engagement and fostering ongoing dialogue. Small class sizes made it easier to grasp concepts and learn effectively. It’s a vibrant environment where you’re challenged daily and continuously grow.
View moreThis master’s program offers strong resources and solid knowledge for anyone aiming to build a career in marketing. It’s well put together and includes extra experiences—like talks from CEOs—that add real value. While some professors weren’t the best at teaching since they’re more industry-focused than trained educators, the overall experience is still positive and worth recommending.

View moreOverall this master’s programme is valuable, for its resources can provide solid chances to find a job after graduation. The fault of some classes were professors: being professionals and not trained teachers they lacked empathy with the class and didn’t know how to teach in the literal sense. Overall satisfied, would recommend.
