In my opinion, the Higher Diploma in Data Analytics at DKIT is an excellent program for the development of essential data analytics skills. The curriculum consists of important topics such as statistics, databases, data visualization, Python, and Business Intelligence, which will enable you to get started on your journey to becoming an analyst and will also help in finding a job in this field.

The lecturers at DkIT have proved to be highly knowledgeable about their subjects and approachable, thus making the process of learning quite interesting and easy.

In addition, there are various assignments in different modules, which allow you to apply the gained knowledge in real-life situations and create your portfolio.

However, there are no industry-related modules in this diploma; that is, there are no opportunities to get placed in a company and interact with the people from the industry. In spite of some difficulties in particular modules, all courses have been rather useful for my career in the future.

Therefore, I would definitely recommend this program for both beginners and people interested in enhancing their skills in data analytics.

My university experience was both rewarding and challenging. It helped me develop valuable skills such as communication, time management, teamwork, and problem-solving. Through coursework, projects, and interactions with lecturers and fellow students, I gained knowledge and confidence that have been beneficial in my professional career.

For students in the North East, outside of Dublin, DkIT is a great option. The campus and facilities are to a good standard. There are many courses and some opportunities for further study at postgraduate level. I conducted 2-3 years of Masters research having completed my undergraduate degree.

It is a very good university to study sciences. The classrooms are very clean and have everything we need to study. The labs are of first level and my favorite part of all the university. I would highly recommend the university because it was not a place only for studying but a safe place you could go. They had a lot of activities to make community and as a foreign student I felt very comfortable when I fell from my bike and the nurses helped me recover from that. Also, when I needed some advice they were always there to help. I really had a very good time and I feel that I made the best decision.
