The atmosphere has been charged, with many students feeling anxious and uncertain. Protests and political discussions often spill into the classroom, leading to heated debates that can disrupt lectures and group work. While these tensions have fostered a sense of solidarity among some students, they also create an environment of distraction and stress. Many professors are trying to navigate these challenges, often adapting their teaching to address current events, which can either enrich discussions or lead to a lack of focus on the curriculum. Despite the difficulties, this situation has sparked a heightened sense of activism and awareness among students. Many are engaging in dialogue about social issues, seeking to effect change. However, it remains a delicate balance, as we strive to maintain academic rigor while navigating the complexities of our social landscape.
