University of Delhi falls into the capital city of India. You can feel it in its environment. The colleges have quite great infra ,apart from some which were constructed half a century ago just get some minor renovation. Libraries use to be full of books , whatever interests you , you can grab for take away with official 14 days period or you can read it there itself , accompanied by many others. The environment surely get some heated during student union elections but obviously if you are into your stuff only, these things must not bother you much. University of delhi also have a good network of alumni, a great placement cell , great exposure and guidance to get you through your passion. So basically it is a complete package easily recommended if you believe in yourself and have rational expectations. It will guide you , shape you, provide you opportunities and train you to be a better citizen. Just stay away from politics unless its only reason you choose this.
