University of Debrecen is one the best in Hungary. This university uses the fact that it is the only one in the city to a great effect in terms of getting people feel welcome and part of it. This is done by many events organized by the university, such as music festivals, talent shows, food festivals and so on. In every of these event university gives chance to the international students to promote their culture and feel closer to home. This is certainly a great place to make friends from all over the world as there are many internationals and all campuses are fairly close to each other. Only thing that should be improved in my opinion is the overall knowledge of the English language by professors.

I am an International student at the University of Debrecen. As an international student at university, I have been exposed to diverse people from all around the world. I am studying my bachelors in Food Engineering at University. I am blessed with a great team of Professors at my campus. Apart from studies, there are a lot of platforms for extracurricular activities for example International Student Union, SH mentor Network, Erasmus Student Network and many more, which give you chance proof your leadership skills and have a good social life. Currently, I am President of the International Student Union of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences and Environmental Management. My overall experience at university is fantastic and I would recommend unideb for your great future. Thanks

As an international student at Unideb, I have been exposed to a wonderful atmosphere and culture. I have done my bachelor in Food Engineering, where students’ inventive approaches are supported throughout, with the help of well-qualified lecturers. The professors are focused on learning practical knowledge and having an understanding of real-life situations/challenges. As an international student, I definitely suggest the University of Debrecen to anybody considering a wonderful future abroad.
