I like about it’s transformational impact on education in Ghana and West Africa at large. It’s a great institution i would recommend for everyone. However, its delay in releasing students results makes it difficult for students to track their progress on time.

University of Education,Winneba is a government owned institution that provides a variety of programmes.it provides students with needed skills that makes its products outstanding and exceptional as well. The slogan is EDUCATION FOR SERVICE. The institution has fully equipped teaching professionals.

The mandate of this university is to run educational programs which has a direct impact in the society and matches the current educational standard globally. Most graduates find it difficult to get employed after successfully completing their course of study.

My school is rated one of the best schools in Ghana but, infrastructure is a big issue because the lecture halls are not enough for the increasing number of students. The library is too small to contain students during examination period

My Alumni University is among the top-notch Education universities, known for the high-quality teaching and professors in the Country according to Times Higher Education. We are rated among the top three Universities in the country. Teaching at UEW is strongly research-based, anchored on a high regard for teachers and top-quality teaching significant for successfully delivering excellent education. We are a University with 100% of our lecturers also being professional educators. I read BSc Information Technology as a program and I must say I had value for my money and the professors to student ratio is simply amazing, we have smaller class sizes and our professors are friendly and have time for each student. The student life is amazing and research facilities are cutting edge, with learning centres and ultramodern laboratories and libraries filled with books for all programs on the go, UEW has its main campus located at Winneba and we have 5 campuses across the country (Kumasi, Mampong, Ajumako, North campus and Winneba) I am proud to elect my university as the most diverse tertiary institution in the country as University welcomes students across the globe with most of your students from Africa, Europe, and a smaller percentage from North America. Diversity is key and students from different backgrounds make our university the most welcoming for all cultures. We have well-known courses in Fine Arts education, Information Technology education, management education, accounting education etc and a lot more to choose from and also countless research-based programs. Our mission and vision continue to be the best amongst the competitors in the tertiary sector which reads “ To provide quality education to its students most efficient over a broad range of subjects taught by the most effective teachers.” With this students who choose our university always conclude on the fact that the University Of Education made their dreams come true and most of our students are rated the best effective and well-performing professors across the country of Ghana.

The lecturers are friendly and on top of their subject matter. The environment is also conducive for learning but the only problem is the accommodation situation on campus and in town. In all, I like the school.
