I studied at the University of Education, Winneba, and honestly, it’s been a good experience. The lecturers are dedicated and always ready to help you understand what they teach. I really liked the teaching practice part of the programme because it gave me real classroom experience and helped me build confidence as a future teacher.
One thing I didn’t really like is the student portal. It’s not user-friendly at all, and sometimes it takes a long time to access results or register for courses. I think if they work on improving that, things would be much easier for students.
Aside from that, UEW is a great place to study, especially if you’re passionate about teaching. I’ve learned a lot and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to become a good teacher.

The program provided a solid foundation in accounting principles, covering key areas such as financial accounting, auditing, and taxation. The curriculum was relevant and aligned with industry standards, though some areas could benefit from more focus on emerging technologies in accounting, like automation or data analytics.
Teaching Quality:
Professors were knowledgeable and communicated the material clearly. However, some could have been more engaging, and practical examples from real-world scenarios would have made the content more relatable.
Resources and Support:
The university provided sufficient resources, such as accounting software and databases, which were crucial for understanding the practical aspects of accounting.
Practical Experience:
The program offered limited hands-on experience, and more internship or co-op opportunities would have been valuable. Real-world experience would have strengthened my understanding of applying theory to practice.
Career Prospects:
The program prepared me well for entering the accounting field, though more focus on networking and industry connections could improve job placement rates.
What I like University of Education Winnaba is that they teach deep in education and train well graduates for the academic field.
special lectures are in these and a well-sounding environment, where they deal with pure educational works.
