KNUST is a great institution. Honestly I like everything about the school because the school have all the facilities and make life easy for students on campus.
Most classroom are with Air conditioners, Ultramodern two big libraries which one even have bathroom and functions 24 hourly. Great and accommodative professors who are ready to answer all your questions. Shuttle, which will take you from your hostel to the college and guest what it’s free. High level security which makes the student enjoy the environment. I can say KNUST is the best

KNUST is already known for it’s best in Ghana with their academic reputation widely recognized for instance quality education and best lectures as to how they involve in the mode of their teaching really pushes their wards. It’s known for focusing in the research significantly in respect tk the academic discourse making them also the leading research institute. Nevertheless, some departments really luck the sophisticated laboratory equipment for frequent exposure of their practical programs becoming a problem after their exposed to the word. Again, with the number of students in the lecture rooms also factor part of the learning issue since a large number of students limits lectures to give their best out.
For my programme; Agricultural Biotechnology in the year 2024 batch I personally didn’t enjoy the needed attention that should have been out for students particularly in the laboratory bases as the programme demands to be in the lab to be given the right attention and the skills and with this less attention with less frequent in going to the lab for everything to be fully theoretical knowledge due to huge number of students with less or small space biotechnology laboratory. So at the end of the four-year stay on campus would sadly be theoretical and less practical.
Lectures in respect to the way of setting their exams seems clearly like enjoying for students to fail which professionally should not be the case since they are to guide their students in succeeding as well not the otherwise.
Lastly, if the institution really prioritize students to give their maximum in the student, I think they should do something about the access of getting adequate spaces to learn since not all students can learn in their respective hotels or halls since at times it can be challenging as well.

The university environment is very conducive for learning and the lecturers go all out for their students .Most lecturers also provide practical training to help prepare us for the real world outside

This school is a dream come true for me. It’s a wonderful university. It has a great facilities, accommodations and resources for enhancement of teaching and learning. It’s a pleasure to be part of the school.

KNUST is a great University. A community that embraces different cultures. Every tribe exist there as one. The environment is conducive for learning. It is a safe place for all. Despite being far from home, I got to have greater experiences when it comes to Time management. In general, KNUST is the best and I’d definitely recommend it.

My stay at Kwame Nkurmah university of science and Technology has been the most inspiring and prospective journey I ever had. I came to this school with little admiration about the country, its location and the accent of the Ghanaian— as time went on I began to wonder what my mind was telling me about the institution.
I remember in first year, it took me a whole semester to adapt to everything in Ghana— from the classroom to the market, I felt like I was in a different world, the foods were very different from what I used to have, the accent was weird to me. It’s now when I evaluate my stay in Ghana that I realize what a blessing it was for me to come to KNUST for studies; the environment, the lecture halls, the warmth of the people will leave you in an awe.
KNUST has been ranked the best university for quality education in 2023 world wide not by chance but what the university deserves for the services and training its offers her students— I would say it’s the least reward they can get for their marvelous and unwavering work in ensuring that meaningful leaders led by integrity are put into this world.

It’s one of the best Universities in the country. Professors are very open and accommodating to their students.Campus has a lot of activities to offer but there is no entertainment activities because of some reasons. I will recommend it for any student who wants to become endowed with in in their field of study.

Overall, my experience in KNUST is one of positive intrigue and new experiences. I have new friends and mentors who guide me and help me navigate certain, if not most, life situations. Personally my only problem is my inability to access every information on campus on a particular platform a part from that I’m perfectly fine with campus life, academics and social life.
I’d completely recommend KNUST to anyone who wants to school in West Africa especially Ghana

KNUST to me is one of the best university in Ghana and in the world. It’s nice to study in KNUST because the lectures do teach to students understand and offer more practical related work for students.
The only challenge in KNUST is the lack of Accommodation for students. This makes students travel from far end of Kumasi for lecture creating more stress to them.
