I do not know about other Universities, but I think KNUST is a great University, and I will give it a solid 8.7/10. In terms of what I liked about the University, I would say it has a unique way of making you see the world. They provide some kind of competitive advantage over graduates from other schools. In terms of what I did not like, some faculty members tend to avoid/ignore practical sessions with the excuse that the class is large. This, in my opinion, doesn’t sit well with me. But not all faculties do this; some actually train their students very practically, so I’d advise that before deciding on a program, talk to someone who knows a lot about the programs offered and the various faculties. Overall, I’d recommend it as a great University and probably the best in Ghana.

Graduating from KNUST with a BSc in Agriculture Science was a defining experience that shaped my passion for sustainable agriculture, precision farming, and agricultural technology. The university provided a solid academic foundation, hands-on experience, and a supportive learning environment, preparing me for a successful career in agriculture and related fields.

Beyond academics, KNUST offered a vibrant campus life that enriched my personal and professional development. I was an active member of the International Association of Agriculture and Related Sciences (IAAS) and the KNUST Chess Club, where I developed leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. The university’s diverse student body provided an excellent opportunity to network with individuals from different backgrounds, creating lifelong connections.

I highly recommend KNUST to anyone looking to pursue a degree in Agriculture Science or any other science-based discipline, as it offers a world-class education with a focus on research, innovation, and professional development.

KNUST is one of the most top schools on Africa. One can not talk bout universities in Ghana without talking about KNUST. The way the lecturers teaches is very good, they have sophisticated machines for operating, they have modern library that aids students to learn and the over all student life is the best.

KNUST is an enviable institution that most students in Ghana and abroad long to school in. It has a serene environment that is conducive to teaching and learning. It brings most options to the table for students with diverse talents by introducing other extracurricular activities that will make talents materialise. The only problem I have with Knust is that the theory tuition is too much and they should be looking at practical options of teaching students looking at the world we find ourselves.

One of the best in West Africa. I can duly recommend it to people. Lecturers are well trained and take their work seriously and have won so many research challenges globally and locally. So far, one of the best.

KNUST is a good school for both local and international schools. It has a conducive environment, which makes teaching and learning very effective. Lecturers are very good and are always available to assist students. The best university in Ghana.

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is an institution of excellence in terms of the quality of teaching and learning. Most of the lecturers are friendly, interactive and allows open discussions during lectures. Of course, some fall below this mark in my opinion. Lecturers sometimes organize field events to help understand certain courses. I love the green nature of the campus that allows groups discussion sessions and relaxation. Halls on campus are accommodating and beautiful even though the ordinary rooms are too small for 4 students
