The University of Ghana is generally a good school and arguably the best university in Ghana. It has more arts and business-related courses than Science and Engineering courses. It has a stunning campus filled with diverse groups of people from all over the world, and not Ghana alone.
The only thing I disliked about the school during my time there was because of the appalling professor-to-student ratio, which was around 1:200. The school is also understaffed, and it puts a burden on the teaching staff to work twice as hard.
But I definitely recommend it if you want to study in Africa

University of Ghana offers a strong academic foundation and a vibrant student experience.There are numerous clubs, student organizations and events that makes campus life exciting. Nevertheless, Off-campus accomodation can be very expensive. Regardless, I would really recommend it for any student in Ghana or abroad looking for a wonderful place of studies.
