My overall opinion of the university is favorable, especially for students who are interested in studying engineering in Germany at a reasonable cost.

One of the biggest things I liked about this university is that the course of study is free of charge. This makes it a very attractive option for international students. The admission letter was also very clear and detailed. The university explained the enrollment process, required documents, health insurance, and even the estimated living expenses. I appreciated that they provided contact persons such as the International Students Support Officer and staff who would guide students after arrival. This gives confidence that new students will receive assistance settling in.

However, there were also some drawbacks. The university clearly stated that it does not offer scholarships, which could be difficult for students who depend on financial aid. In addition, the requirement to appear in person with original academic documents and proof of insurance may be stressful for international applicants, especially due to visa processing and travel arrangements. Also, although tuition is free, the monthly living cost requirement (around €700) can still be challenging for some students.

Overall, TH Lübeck is organized, transparent, and student-supportive, but students must plan finances and documentation carefully. I would recommend this university to students who want a practical engineering degree in Germany with low tuition costs and are prepared to manage their living expenses independently.
