The Karlshochschule was established 2004 with 660 students and 20 academic staff. It is a state-approved, privately owned University of Applied Sciences located in Karlsruhe, Germany. A non-profit organization that focuses on international market and intercultural collaboration in Business.
One of the greatest advantages of Karlshochschule is their international network. The university participated in ERASMUS programs and a member of ATLAS network, Business and EAIE, a European centre for expertise. The university has a library that is centrally located in the heart of the university. It comprises of more than 12,000 books and 70 journals, generally open to all students as well as external visitors but only on opening hours between 8 am and 5 pm.

StudentNGGreat Community, but Lacks Practical FacilitiesI genuinely enjoy being at my university. It feels like a close-knit community where everyone is included, and the professors are both approachable and excellent at teaching. The environment is friendly and supportive — you never feel like you can’t speak up or ask questions.
However, considering the high tuition fees, I do think the university could offer more in terms of practical resources or amenities. Right now, it’s mainly just one building with classrooms. We attend lectures and leave, but there’s little hands-on or practical application outside of that. A more well-rounded experience would make the programme even better.
Overall, it’s a good university with a strong sense of belonging and academic support, but it could improve by investing more in student facilities and practical learning opportunities.

My time at the Karlshochschule was extremely positive! My time there was spent learning in a highly collaborative environment, where exchange, internationality, and diversity were prioritised through small-scale group learning in a generally balanced academic hierarchy where all perspectives were heard and valued! Having graduated with a degree in International Relations, I feel equipped with the knowledge and skillsets necessary to enter the field of international affairs. Furthermore, the Karls has provided me with an engaged, extensive network of international colleagues and friends! For anyone looking to create positive change in the world and searching for knowledge, skills, and perspectives to make that change happen, the Karls is the answer!
