IUBH University of Applied Sciences is located in Bad Honnef, Germany. Bad Honnef is a very small town in Germany but it’s close to the bigger cities, Bonn and Cologne, which helps you to feel more acclimated to the culture. Due to the fact that the international students were able to live on campus, or in the surrounding area, I would say that I felt very integrated with the local culture. Regarding safety, Bad Honnef is an extremely safe place. This is one of the major advantages to this program. I never once felt unsafe. The streets are very clean and quiet usually, and I was never afraid when walking the streets at night by myself. IUBH offers great course curriculum, packed in a very nice structure. They give exposure to all facets of management, in addition to real time environment of learning by putting emphasis on case studies. IUBH offers all study programs in English. In addition the university also offers us to learn German or any other foreign language as a part of the course of study.__At the end of the semester you have one final exam per course which is worth atleast 70% to 100% of your final grade.__The faculty standards at IUBH are best in class globally. The campus has a cafe called Dallmayr, which is very popular among students. It is also equipped with a students bar, Charly’s, as well as two “dining halls”, Anno and the Mensa. A major difference between this university’s meal program is that they only provide lunch, and it is a-la-carte style. IUBH is a great place to pursue management education and the period of stay here can be a Great learning exposure for individuals to excel in the corporate world.
I found the school and the people very welcoming…the best thing about it is there is so much diversity on campus. I like that we get to connect with people from different countries with different cultures and that adds a lot to the university experience. Lecturers are some of the best I have come across and lecture rooms are always in the best condition. IUBH has become my home.
IUBH is one of the top private institutions that provide courses in 100% English. It’s an perfect opportunity for international students to study in Germany with professionals from various fields. At IUBH students gain not only knowledge but also practical skills necessary for a successful career.
I like the course content since it is continuously updated to match the international business needs. Suggestions are mostly welcomed by the professors and management. One-on-one sessions with faculties are quite interactive and the faculty consists of mostly people having business experience, so they guide according to real life problems, on how they need to be managed.
For every university there will be pros and cons. So the pros of this university are the professors they are very experienced. Every professor i met is a doctorate and had experience of at least 20 years in their industry or they have their own businesses. I cannot comment one word on professors. We will gain more knowledge from them. The cons are the location it is not located in city, and the tuition fee was a little high (for me).
