I studied taxation and business administration at Leibniz University Hannover. The university is a large public institution with a broad range of subjects and a central campus that is well connected by public transport. Some courses in tax law and accounting were very well structured and the lecturers were supportive, while others were more lecture-based with less personal contact. Administrative processes for exams and course registration were clear but sometimes required a lot of self-organisation. Overall, my studies gave me a solid foundation in taxation and business, and Hannover offered a typical big-city infrastructure with relatively moderate living costs.
