Humboldt University - HUB Speciality : Accounting & Finance
programme: Accounting and Management Information Systems

I studied the Master of Information at Humboldt University of Berlin. In my experience, it’s a very good place to study at this university.

One of the single biggest highlights of the Master of Information is its exceptional flexibility. The curriculum gives you the freedom to tailor your studies according to your specific career goals and interests. You can choose your learning path between both business and computer science courses. Whether you want to lean more into data analysis, software concepts, or management strategies, the program allows you to build that bridge smoothly.

At the same time, the program ensures you do not lose sight of the core competencies. The mandatory courses are thoughtfully structured to provide a solid, essential foundation in information systems, preparing you well for advanced topics. Beyond the curriculum itself, the learning experience in the classroom is top-tier. The lectures are inspiring, highly interactive, and designed to keep the coursework consistently engaging rather than purely theoretical.

Another major advantage of studying at HU Berlin is the vibrant campus community. The university attracts a large, diverse population of international students, making it incredibly easy to connect with peers from all over the world, exchange unique perspectives, and build a global network.

Of course, high standards come with high expectations. Like most top-tier universities, writing your Master’s thesis here is demanding and requires a serious amount of dedication, discipline, and effort. However, it is a deeply rewarding challenge that pushes you to grow as a researcher and professional.

Overall, HU Berlin offers a high-quality education in a dynamic environment, and I would highly recommend the Master of Information to anyone considering it!
