I demand a refund and a proper investigation into the irresponsibility and negative attitude of my 2 advisors during the consultation when I applied for a BA in Animation.
I applied for a BA in Animation in December 2022 and participated in a portfolio scholarship, after I received the unconditional letter, I was required to pay 2000 euros to ‘keep the slot’ (this is what the advisor said) and before I made any payment, I kept asking him “when is the portfolio scholarship out’ because I have financial problems, I need to know the total percent of discount so I can consider whether I can afford to study here or not but he and another advisor guy NEVER gave me a straight answer. Whenever I asked their reply it was very confusing and sometimes they just disappeared. And one kept pushing me to pay the 2000 euro and sign the contract while the other PROMISED to give my money back if later I couldn’t afford to study there. I believed him so I paid the money and signed the contract. After they got my money, they DISAPPEARED again while I kept asking when will I have the scholarship result, they NEVER answered. Then 5 MONTHS later, the result is out, it’s not like what I’ve expected so I want to withdraw. When I contacted the financial team, they said due to the 14 days refund terms & condition in my contract, I’m not eligible for a refund ??? I asked my 2 advisors and they gave me many ridiculous reasons and wanted to blame everything on me and AVOID from answering my questions.
1. They called themselves an advisor but they know nothing about scholarship (if they know then they LIED to me in the beginning to trick me to sign the contract so I can’t have my money back)
2. It’s their RESPONSIBILITY to inform me when the portfolio scholarship result is out because they are my ADVISORS. They failed to do so and let the 14 days of withdrawal in my contract overdue (even I am the one keep reminding them my situation) and afterall this is all my fault ???
