Being a double degree master’s student at BSEL, I get to experience diversity in my class. The university has brought together students from various backgrounds and cultures which makes it a worthwhile experience.
Regarding academics, the International Economics Master’s provides a radical heterodox approach to the field of economics that is not very common at other educational institutions. Those students who want to excel in their career in Economics should consider applying to the Berlin School of Economics and Law.
The ISM study program was not exactly as expected. I thought it would be more practical. I like the prospects the program avails. The program administration is helpful, but lectures are often rushed. Too many ungraded assignments that eat-up students’ time. While some of the lecturers are understanding, some are not and do not care. Also, the internship period is too long (6 months).
I would recommend the program to a friend but it would need improvements to accommodate students’ challenges.
‘Every problem is a gift, without problems we would not grow’ Dixit Anthony Robbins. As a future administrator and Economic problem solver, this is made special and unique in my program, I enjoy having every subject from its contents and professors are experienced, besides their experience, they make you feel free and comfortable which is such benefit for future goals. I would definitely recommend this program to those who aspire to help the economy to follow my academic path.View more
The program is very interesting and it addresses current issues in the security sector. It is also a multidisciplinary program that offers opportunities to different categories of professionals. I can recommend this program.
However, being a full-time program, it is not flexible for students who plan to study and work at the same time. Students with full sponsorship and scholarships have advantages over student work in order to finance their studies.
Very international business school with lots of student from all over the world. Wide variety of courses taught in English. As an international student, I have never had any organisational issues with the school. However, some of the profs and their teaching methods leave more to be desired for: sometimes very unstructured.View more
