I am Master student of RWTH Aachen. one of the best university in world that’a what other people thinks but that’s not true. My course is on Railway engineering which duration is 2 years. There are many subjects they teach on railways and only field of Electronics field. Here i observed one thing is that people taking 4-5 years to complete their course so most of students stuck here. If i share my opinion on student life so it is not so good. Getting accommodation is not an easy task, Poor transportation system. One thing is good here is only professor are super genius. From my point of please not choose this university .
View moreWith over 50 thousand students, RWTH Aachen University is one of the best and largest Universities in Germany. I am currently studying Master’s in Railway Systems Engineering since 2020 at this University. The university buildings are scattered in a small but beautiful place called Aachen. Every year, more than 5 thousand students come to this University from various parts of the world and hence finding accommodation in a student dorm is quite difficult. The university is located on the western border of Germany. Netherlands and Belgium are very close to Aachen. The university organizes good intercultural and sports activities. There are paid courses as well as free courses for Master’s and Bachelor’s programs depending on your interests. Finding a part-time job is quite hard in Aachen, and students prefer working outside Aachen. Cologne, which is one of the major cities in Germany, is close to Aachen. Students enrolled in RWTH Aachen, get a semester ticket, through which they can travel the entire NRW state for free. This includes Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf and Dortmund. With high-quality education and top-notch teaching faculty, I would recommend this university to everyone.
View moreMy study programme is called Railway systems Engineering. The study programme is a bit difficult but the way, it is organised by professors, is remarkable. The Infrastructure is state-of-the-art and all the facilities are there like sports, Gym, etc. There is only one problem that I want to mention, departments of the specific fields are located at a certain distance from each other so, sometimes it feels hectic to switch departments. Overall, I would strongly suggest choosing this university for getting a better career.
