There is no doubt that my university is one of the best in Germany. Ranks admit that and all numbers say that as well, but no one talks about how much stress the student program is actually causing. It is full of theory and very little practical hands-on on what you should be doing in labs and so on. I enjoyed their facilities very much. It is unbelievably huge and spread out across the whole city. The location of the University seems too far from the typical “city-like” cities, but I have to admit it might have been the best thing to ever happen to any student. The fact that this whole city is for students only, and having the access to cross the border and go to Netherlands or Belgium at any time throughout semesterticket, it is unbelievable.

Yes, you are given a general idea but every course in itself is highly detailed. In this very digital century, I believe we all have to agree about being specified is vital but at the same time if you’re lacking a general idea such as other department responsibilities then you do not have a solid connection with them. And without the connection, your ideas are not gonna represent your work as you might want.
So RWTH Aachen Automotive Engineering gives you the general but also the specific details in each department itself.
I believe I do not have to mention that more 50 per cent of the patent related to the futuristic topic “self-driving” belongs to Germany and it’s the heart of the industry.
