Essec BBA is a well known program if you want to attend a business school. The teaching is qualitative as the teachers usually are reputed experts in their fields.
As far as it concerns the campus, you cannot complain about the diversity and quality of high tech equipment or the comfortable auditoriums.
Pretty much everything is made for you to feel at ease and evolve as an ESSEC student.
One of the rare things I could point out is the school campus location which is pretty much isolated and a bit far from the centre of Paris, otherwise, you can take public transport, easy to use and practical for your everyday student life.

BBA program. The program is really practical and useful, provide us many international opportunities. Like internship and humanitarian experience, and the flexibility is also really cool, we can choose different campus and tracks as we want.

ESSEC Business School is a French school located in the Parisian area (Cergy), far from the city center but accessed by several means of transport (buses, trains…). It is known for being one of the high-ranked business schools in Europe and for offering several programs.
The one I chose is the Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) which is obtained after four years of studying : the two first years are based on a general curriculum followed by all the students, then the two last years combine professional experiences and courses chosen by the student itself depending on the subject he or she wants to specialize in. All of this goes with exchanges and internships to do during these academic years. The courses are diverse and different. The are many subjects such as Finance, Marketing, Accounting and Entrepreneurship, but also some subjects that are not directly related to business, just like history or languages. The school organizes often some business seminars and workshops.
Concerning the extra-academic life, Cergy is an area full of students. There are several universities and engineering schools around, which makes a dynamic and fun place to live as a student. The student organizations in charge of other students’ social lives always prepare enjoyable events and unforgettable parties at cheap prices. ESSEC Business School has also this special feature to count a large number of international students among its community. The school has a pioneer spirit that goes together with a special open-mindedness and respect of others.
Despite the inconveniences that can reflect the school (such as the location which is not really in the centre of Paris), it is still an experience that marked the majority – to not say all – of its students and alumni. I will for sure recommend it for others because it represents, in my opinion, the fundamentals of business studies and of students’ daily life.

Thanks to ESSEC, I was able to travel a lot, whether for internships or university exchanges. The experiences abroad are for me very important. They are both rewarding and allow to meet people from different cultures.
