a very multi cultured environment, with yearly opportunities to go abroad, I think BBA is the most interesting program offered. excelia aslo has a strong alumni network and you get to meet so many people over the course of 4 years.

Excelia Business School puts a strong emphasis on sustainability across all of its classes, making it an important part of the learning experience rather than just a separate topic. It encourages students to think responsibly and consider the long-term impact of business decisions. The student life outside of class is fantastic. La Rochelle is a vibrant and welcoming city with plenty of activities, events, and places to relax, making it easy to meet people and enjoy a great balance between studying and social life.

In general in it a good university. I was happy to join the English track, therefore it was more easy to integrate, since I heard that it was more difficult to mix with other students in the French track. The university tried to let us feel at home. In general, I was surprised about some inbalances between professors. Whereas some professors had a huge knowledge about their topic and courses were hard, some other felt more like a waste of time and some professors did not know a lot beside the course material. In terms of preparing of the exams, it was really helpful that we had a week off to prepare for the exams. However, it was quite challenging having each day 2 exams.

In the staff and faculty, there is an important turn over, which is never a good sign.

This is a well-organised and serious SCHOOL. While it may not be very outstanding or well known, it provides a solid academic experience and maintains high standards. As the university is located in a small city, job opportunities are naturally more limited compared with larger metropolitan areas. However, for local students there are still opportunities available, and student life is quite active with clubs and various activities.The university has become increasingly international thanks to a growing number of exchange students. One thing I particularly appreciated is that, despite being a small-city university, it offers well-structured English-taught programmes.The professors are dedicated, professional, and always willing to help students. Expectations are high, and it is not easy to obtain a diploma without putting in genuine effort. At the same time, the teaching staff are supportive and approachable when students need assistance.The university also organises international trips, company and factory visits, and humanitarian activities, which enrich the student experience beyond the classroom.Sports activities are another highlight, especially the many water-based activities available through the sports programme. The city itself is also very pleasant and comfortable to live in.One minor downside is that the university cafeteria offers limited choices, although students can also eat at the neighbouring university’s dining hall.Overall, I would recommend this university to students looking for a serious academic environment, supportive professors, and a high quality of life in a smaller city.
