Studying at the University of New York in Prague (UNYP) has been an enriching experience. The diverse student body and international environment foster a truly global perspective, with professors who bring a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience to the classroom. The small class sizes allow for more personalized attention and encourage active participation. I’ve found the curriculum to be challenging yet engaging, blending theoretical learning with practical application all while having the chance to individualize the study plan and mix and match classes. Plus, the university’s location in the heart of Prague makes it an amazing place to live and explore, adding to the overall cultural experience.
View moreEveryone is friendly in this university and approachable. UNYP emphasizes “a place where you belong”. I moved from another university to UNYP and my experience here has been so amazing. I have had amazing teachers and made good friends. We are provided with good resources that help us with everything we could possibly need.
View moreAs a Media and Communication student at UNYP, I really appreciate the modern and welcoming campus environment. The class schedules are flexible and manageable, making it easier to balance studies with work or other commitments. Many professors come directly from the media and communication industry, so classes feel practical and relevant. What also stands out is the individual approach from both professors and administration, they are supportive, approachable and genuinely interested in students’ success. The variety of interesting and useful courses also makes the program a great choice for building real skills for a future career in media and communication as well as enjoying what you are studying! Overall would very recommend!
View moreUNYP truly stands out thanks to its personal and individual approach to students. The classes are highly engaging, dynamic, and discussion-based, which makes the entire learning experience much more interactive and meaningful. This is not a university where you are forced to memorize useless scripts of information for exams. Rather, students are encouraged to think critically, participate, and genuinely engage with the topics being discussed.
One of the biggest strengths of UNYP is its professors. They are not only experts in their respective fields, but also incredibly inspiring people with a very human and approachable attitude toward students.
The international environment is another huge advantage. You are constantly exposed to different cultures and perspectives through both classmates and professors from all around the world, which adds so much value to the experience overall.
If you are looking for a high-quality, engaging, and international English-language education in any major, UNYP is an excellent choice.
View moreUnyp is an interesting university, the best thing in it is the flexibility of your studies, you could arrange the classes how you will be comfortable with them . Also, lectures a good, haven’t had a really bad experience with any of the professors by far, hope it will continue that way, shame that Professor Nesbitt won’t be a dean anymore, he is the one who got me here, but it’s alright. The only thing that I dislike is an American grading system, for me it seems illogical that 69% is basically nothing and it is almost impossible to get the A when the gap between A nd A- is just 5 %, because that I like the University, would like to see more FREE events and lower prices on credits. The most students pay at least 100000 a semester and we get need to pay for the events, that disappointing. I think when people pay that much for studies they expect personal butler, I don’t know, so yeah, that’s it.
