While I appreciate the academic environment at my university, a notable drawback for me as a master’s student is the limited emphasis on practical projects, research opportunities, and presentations. Instead of fostering a more hands-on approach, the curriculum leans towards examinations, mirroring the structure of undergraduate programs. I believe a greater balance between theoretical assessments and practical application would better prepare us for the demands of our respective fields and enhance the overall learning experienceI recommend that the university reevaluate the structure of the master’s program to incorporate more practical elements such as projects, research opportunities, and presentations. Balancing theoretical assessments with hands-on experiences would better align the curriculum with the expectations of advanced-level education, providing master’s students with a more comprehensive skill set for their future endeavors.
